So...that magical day has finally arrived! The day you have been dreaming of! You are engaged! Congratulations, yay! Now what? Ofcourse, a fun must-do is to get yourself into the nearest salon for a manicure! Afterall, those hands will be the center of attention for a while! Then, as the dust clears a bit from the laughs, giggles and congrats from family and friends, you can begin to really think about the months ahead. And while many bachelorettes have already turned a few pages in a bridal book to imagine her dream wedding and bridal style, many (once engaged) are still on the anticipated hunt to find just the right feel. So with nothing really set in stone as you embark on the journey to becoming one, you may wonder where to start. There is a fun and exciting first step you should plan before making milestone wedding day decisions. Some would tell you to plan your budget, pick your venue, or rush to book your favorite catering company. Not us...
We think one of the most important yet enjoyable things to do in the pre-wedding planning process is to have some funtime with your spouse-to-be and decide on your wedding theme! Just think...your wedding day unveils something that is uniquely you, something that signifies who you are as a couple when you and your guests enter that amazing atmosphere. In addition, your theme typically helps set the tone for the type of venue you choose, the catering you select, the dress you buy (and don't regret ;0) ) and the resulting budget. While converting a venue space that does not necessarily fit your theme into your dream wedding atmosphere can be acheived through the help of allstar vendors, this may also require the need to add additional details to get the look you are hoping for. It's also a bummer if you find yourself missing out on a few natural elements that are signature to your concluded theme such as brick or wood style walls, lots of greenery, city views, or sparkling bodies of water. In all, envisioning, dreaming, and creating this special day makes for great quality time, not-to-mention wedding-prep. So have fun, play first, then work!
